Rodon seals win for Farke’s men as Hammers endure night from Ell

- BY ISAAC JOHNSON

WEST HAM'S miserable winless run continued with a damaging defeat at Elland Road last night to pile early pressure on Nuno Es| Santo.

‘Any hopes of a new manager bounce have swiftly evaporated for the Hammers as Nuno suffered a third defeat in his fourth match in charge.

But this loss will be the toughest to swallow after falling two goals behind within the first 15 minutes as the result sees fellow relegation candidates Leeds peel themselves away from the drop zone.

Brenden Aaronson's opener after three minutes and Joe Rodon’s header saw West Ham fall to a third defeat in succession. It was the response Leeds needed after last week's dismal 2-0 defeat at relegation rivals Burnley, which had left them winless in three games.
