Woolfenden out for revenge agains his old club Ipswich

LUKE WOOLFENDEN has a simple promotion mantra: "Keep calm and carry on.

The Coventry defender locks horns with his former club as the runaway Championship leaders look to avenge a 3-0 Portman Road reverse at the start of December.

Woolfenden admits only a second defeat of the season at the hands of his old mates still stings.

But Frank Lampard’s men quickly bounced back and can stretch their lead over the third-placed Tractor Boys to 16 points with another win.

The centre-back was a mainstay of the Ipswich side promoted to the Premier League under Kieran McKenna in 2024.

He said: “It probably wasn't a 3-0 game earlier this month and they will admit that.
