First UK super-university as part of 'trailblazing' merger

TWO universities are to combine to create the UK’s first “super” college, they have revealed.

Greenwich and Kent would in future be known as the London and South East University Group, sharing the same vice chancellor and governing body.

But they would still keep their local names and presence.

They described the move as a “trailblazing model” that will “create a blueprint” for others.
