Under new guidelines set to be published T by Education Secretary Gillian Keegan today, schools must limit sex education to the reality of biological sex and avoid "contested" beliefs concerning gender ideology, relating to male, female and "non-binary" identities.
This means schools will no longer be allowed to teach children there are 72 different genders or that they can change theirs at will.
Moreover, any "explicit" conservations about sex must not be taught until students reach 13, while children under nine will be banned from receiving any sex education. About time.
The indoctrination of young children in schools has gone on far too long, and many parents are rightly outraged.
Radical gender ideologues are increasingly using children as political pawns. They push gimmicks like "Drag Queen Story Hour" reading events which promote gender fluidity - and adults who have raised concerns about this unnecessary "sexualisation" of children have been maligned as bigoted or transphobic.
IT IS the audacity of these activists, who think they know better than parents, that has fuelled public outrage.
