Farrell won't give up on an England recall

OWEN FARRELL should “never, ever" be written off for an England recall - according to his former Saracens teammate Schalk Brits.

The South African hooker played alongside Farrell during a trophy-laden period for Saracens, which coincided with the fly-half becoming England's leading light.

Farrell remains England's top points scorer, but has not played for his country since the Rugby World Cup in 2023. He opted to step away from the international scene before a brief stint in France.

He is now back with Saracens and again part of the England No.10 conversation. George Ford has taken ownership of the shirt, enjoying a stellar run in England's four wins.
