'Dyche will always be Clarets legend'

JAMES TARKOWSKI says that Sean Dyche will always hold a special place in the hearts of Burnley supporters.

Tarkowski spent six-and-ahalf years under Dyche at Burnley, and the Everton manager presided over a new golden age during his Turf Moor reign.

Burnley seasons in played seven the Premier League with Dyche at the helm and he even got them into Europe in 2018 - for the first time since 1966.

Dyche has been somewhat airbrushed out of Burnley's story since because of the club's transformation after his sacking in April 2022.

However, ahead of tonight's Carabao Cup tie at Goodison Park, Tarkowski insists the Toffees manager will always be fondly remembered by Clarets fans.
