‘Dogs tore dozens of my sheep to pieces’

A SHEEP farmer who lost 35 ewes in a savage attack by a pack of dogs has called the loss “devastating”.

Tom Biela, 32, found the ewes “ravaged. Some had their throats ripped out while others had their heads or legs mauled.

He said the financial damage to his flock was over £10,000. He had taken out farm insurance, but has been told he is not covered for such an incident.
