MARCUS RASHFORD believes Manchester United have left themselves “in no man’s land”.

Rashford has seen the club go from Sir Alex Ferguson’s 27 years at the helm to chopping and changing managers, culminating in Ruben Amorim’s arrival last November - and subsequently, Rashford’s exile.

The England striker, who this summer joined Barcelona on loan and is hoping to revitalise his career, has lamented the changes at Old Trafford that have brought United to this point.

Rashford told The Rest is Football podcast: “People say that we’ve been in a transition for years but to be in a transition you have to start it.

“The actual transition hasn’t started yet. When Liverpool went through this, they got Jurgen Klopp and stuck with him.
