Curry set for surgery after Lions tour

TOM CURRY has got the green light to head to Australia with the Lions despite his injury scare - but will go under the knife after the tour.
The flanker went off grimacing after 23 minutes of Sale's 44-34 loss at Leicester on Friday just 30 hours after being named in Andy Farrell's squad for Down Under.
Curry, 26, has had a shocking run of injuries since his England debut in 2017, aged 18, and a hip problem nearly forced him to retire after the 2023 World Cup.
