'Mexicans unreliable' claim
THE head chef of a gastro-pub was awarded more than £20,000 after his boss ranted online about Michelin-trained cooks with “sauteed egos”.
Francis Rockliff said staff who had worked in kitchens with the guide's stars have “lost their mojo for the love of cooking”. His comments came after Cesar Omar Perez Vargas walked out on a busy Sunday due to an “unreasonable” total of diners.
Following a heated row, Mr Perez Vargas, below, quit and took The Pot Kiln to an employment tribunal.
