Capt Tom's family 'derailed' by his charity

CAPTAIN Sir Tom Moore's daughter regrets having a charity set up in his name — and has repeated her insistence there was no intention to mislead over money from a book deal.

The late Sir Tom, right with his family, raised millions for NHS charities by doing garden laps in lockdown.

But an £800,000 share of a £1.4million book deal and an £18,000 awards appearance fee were among the benefits Hannah Ingram-Moore and her husband Colin enjoyed through family links to the Captain Tom Foundation.
