Businessman handed £730k bill after row over designs for the 'world's biggest yacht'

A MILLIONAIRE businessman has been ordered to give more than £730,000 to a design firm after refusing to pay for work they did on his £480million superyacht project.

Carl Le Souef, 62, planned to build the world's biggest yacht a 728ftlong luxury vessel called Somnio, dubbed a "floating millionaire's row".

London-based architecture firm Winch Design was brought on board to provide sketches as part of a £5million deal.

But the company fell out with Mr Le Souef after he failed to pay for its initial designs and sued him.
