BRONZE LOVES BEING A PART OF 'NEW ENGLAND'

TOURNAMENT veteran Lucy Bronze has labelled Sarina Wiegman's side a 'new England' who will bring a fresh sense of excitement to the country when the Euros kick off this week.

In the absence of established stars Mary Earps, Millie Bright and Fran Kirby, manager Wiegman (inset) has had to turn to some less experienced players for the challenge in Switzerland.

And Bronze, who will be appearing in her seventh major competition for England, believes that adds an extra layer of expectation around the Euro 2022 winners.

She said: "There are seven tournament debutants and even more debutants for a Euros, which have a completely different feel to a World Cup.
