Boy, 10, savaged as he plays in street

A BOY of 10 suffered serious injuries when he was ambushed by a dog as he played football in the street outside his home

Shocking CCTV footage shows Mohammed Sami Raza screaming in pain and crying for help as the animal clamps its jaws around his arm and drags him to the ground in an attack that went on for more than two minutes.

The horror in Walsall on Wednesday was one of a spate of attacks in the West Midlands.

Family members and a passing taxi driver rushed to help Mohammed as the dog dragged him across the pavement and the driveway of his home.

Two women and a man hit the animal with a toy gun and other objects before it finally released its grip and ran away.
