Balcony hope as brave Kate targets Trooping

THE Princess of Wales is focusing on Trooping the Colour for her much-anticipated return to royal duties, it was revealed yesterday.

A source close to Kate said she would like to be there in some form or another to "show her support" for King Charles amid his cancer battle.

Kate, who bravely announced her own cancer diagnosis in a video message on March 22, continues to undergo treatment, and aides have repeatedly said she will only return to duties when doctors allow it. The future Queen knows the importance of putting on a united front and understands how much of a key event the King's birthday parade is to the Royal Family.

However, her health must come first and while she wants to attend the traditional ceremony at Horse Guards Parade on June 15, Kate's medics will have the final say.
