Asthma drug may 'eliminate' deadly food allergic reactions

POTENTIALLY deadly food allergies may be prevented by an asthma drug, research suggests. Zileuton worked “shockingly well” in blocking reactions to food in mice, say experts. The rodents went from 95% susceptible to anaphylaxis to 95% protected.
