Apologetic Amorim regrets his 'worst in United history' claim

RUBEN AMORIM admits he was wrong to brand his Manchester United team as possibly the worst in the club's 147-year history.
Amorim, below, made the accusation after United's 3-1 home loss to Brighton on Sunday, when he damaged a TV in the dressing room because he was so frustrated.
The head coach, who turns 40 on Monday, claims he is still learning and that he did not intend to turn the spotlight on to his players.
Speaking ahead of tonight's Europa League clash with Rangers at Old Trafford, Amorim said: "I'm a young guy and sometimes I make a mistake. That's why I don't talk about it after the game.
"This game, I needed to talk and maybe it was a mistake and then I got more nervous and went to the press conference really nervous.
"Then you say things you shouldn't say and that's it.
