The Reform UK leader says he will repeal the new Online Safety Act that requires photo ID to use certain websites — if he wins the next election.

He claims some people are already trying to circumvent the controversial rules that came into force last Friday by using VPNs (Virtual Private Networks) to disguise their location.

At a press conference on crime to unveil retired Met Police detective Colin Sutton as Reform’s new adviser, Mr Farage said: “Of course we want to find a way of protecting young people from not getting hold of harmful or dangerous content.
