Flat Buyers Accuse Developer Of Taking Crores For 'Palm World One' Project But Failing To Deliver Homes
A Mumbai-based builder has been booked for an alleged rS.50 crore housing fraud after several homebuyers accused him of collecting large sums of money without completing a residential project in Kharadi near EON IT Park.
The case has been registered at Kharadi Police Station against Anurag Anand Khemka, director of Palm Tree Development Pvt. Ltd., following a complaint filed by Vaibhav Vedprakash Katiyar (38), a resident of Kharadi.
Buyers Paid Crores, Flats Still Incomplete.
According to the complaint, Katiyar purchased Flat No. 102 measuring 143 sq. metres in the Palm World One project through a registered agreement dated July 10, 2020, paying rS.98.79 lakh through online transactions.
