Upgrade your windows and doors

Chris Houghton, CEO at clean energy company Egg, says: “Upgrading to energy-efficient windows and doors is a smart investment that enhances both comfort and sustainability.”

Moreover, non-uPVC doors [unplasticised polyvinyl chloride] and double or even triple-glazed windows provide better insulation, notes Chris. “Helping to keep your home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.”

By reducing heat loss, he says energy-efficient windows and doors can also significantly lower heating bills.
