No reunion as Matty remains on the sidelines

MATTY Godden will not form part of the Charlton Athletic welcoming committee when the Addicks host Coventry City today.
-
The veteran striker has not played at all this season - and not since the League One playoffs final as Nathan Jones' side beat Leyton Orient to return to the second tier in May.
That came at the end of a good season for the former Sky Blues promotion hero, pictured, who bagged 22 goals in 49 appearances in all competitions in 2024/25.
He did so having left the CBS Arena in the summer of 2024 and after playing 156 times over five seasons in Sky Blue.
