VE Day Street Party - 8th May, 1945.

This photograph was taken at the children’s street party, in Sovereign Road, Coventry, close to the junction with Melbourne Road.
I am in the front row, third from the left, in front of my sister.
My recollections of that special day: The weather was dry and comfortable; just right for a street party.
