Long-haul trips and international minutes leave Lampard with selection poser

But what Sky Blues team will Frank Lampard go with for tomorrow’s televised lunchtime kickoff (12.30pm) against the Baggies at the CBS Arena?

Under normal circumstances most would stick with a winning team but Lampard’s selection is slightly complicated by the uncertainty surrounding three of his international players, two of whom are making long-haul trips back to Ryton from around the world.

Haji Wright didn’t feature for the USA's friendly win over Paraguay last week but started in a 5-1 victory over Uruguay on Wednesday (Nov 19), playing 60 minutes before being replaced by Folarin Balogun. So while tired legs shouldn’t be too much of an issue, jet-lag may be a consideration.
