COVENTRY City have headed into the international break in blistering form from a sensational week of results that saw them score 12 goals, take nine points and keep three clean sheets to take them to top of the Championship table.

- By ANDY TURNER

Having put three past Birmingham City, rattled four in against Millwall and then going one better again and smashing five past Sheffield Wednesday, the Sky Blues have now bagged a whopping 27 goals from nine games.

Here we take a look at what's going on in and around the club as Frank Lampard takes the opportunity to reset his team with a bit of rest and recuperation for players before the next block of games kick off against Blackburn Rovers at home.

What's impressed Grimes most

Matt Grimes has identified the most impressive part of Saturday's thumping good win at Sheffield Wednesday.

The Sky Blues skipper was delighted with five more goals to make it 12 from the last three matches, and a fourth consecutive clean sheet to take the team into the international break in top spot of the Championship table.
