'Goals put young gun on Sky Blues' radar

COVENTRY City have been linked with interest in a “promising” young Kazakhstan forward who is claimed to have caught the eye during a recent match against Sporting Lisbon Under-19s.

A report by Kazakhstan outlet BAO. KZ says that the Sky Blues had scouts at a UEFA Youth League match involving Kairat-Zhas from the city of Almaty, during which 18-year-old winger Azamat Tuyakbayev scored twice against the Portuguese opposition.
