Crackdown over 'high levels of anti-social behaviour'

The Stoke and Wyken Policing Team has reported that targeted activity is underway in four parts of their patch.

"We are continuing our targeted guardian patrols in the areas of Walsgrave Road, Riley Square, Hillmorton Road and Edgwick Park due to high levels of ASB (Anti-Social Behaviour)," the team explained in a community update.

There has been further action across the wider area as the team has taken part in both foot and vehicle patrols in and around residential streets with traffic team officers as part of Operation Woodcore, which aims to stop burglaries in the area.

That is not the only ongoing sting as there is also Operation Galvanise, which was set up to help tackle vehicle crime on the north east area of Coventry.
