STEFF Evans is to leave the Scarlets at the end of the season.

STEFF READY FOR SUMMER FAREWELL

The 30-year-old has battled back from a serious Achilles injury this season, making his comeback in the win over Edinburgh in January.

However, he has now decided to call time on his Scarlets career.

He is one of seven players who will leave the West Wales region this summer.

Ioan Lloyd is leaving for Cardiff, while Alex Craig is joining Glasgow Warriors following his return to the Scotland squad.

Flanker-turned-hooker Shaun Evans is also leaving after making 65 appearances for the Scarlets across eight seasons, while fly-half Charlie Titcombe, scrum-half Efan Jones and lock Ed Scragg are all departing after joining the region in 2023.

Evans made his debut against Zebre in November 2014, and has scored 74 tries in 190 appearances.

His superb performances out wide underpinned the Scarlets’ PRO12 title win in 2016-17, with his form that season earning him a first Wales cap during the summer tour against Tonga.
