CARMARTHENSHIRE Council has been celebrating the dedication and impact of volunteers at Theatrau Sir Gar as part of Volunteers' Week.

- IAN LEWIS

At Theatrau Sir Gar, volunteers can get involved in a variety of roles through the Ambassadors programme.

There are three venues Carmarthen's Lyric Theatre, Ffwrnes Theatre in Llanelli and Ammanford's Y Glowyr Theatre.

The volunteers work closely with the marketing team and management to promote events, support audiences and help shape future programming.

Whether it's greeting guests at performances, sharing upcoming shows with local groups, providing support at relaxed performances or contributing ideas to creative projects, the work of volunteers is essential in keeping the theatre vibrant and welcoming.
