Police bid farewell to Maj Gen after 39 years of dedicated service

THE police in Limpopo bid farewell to Maj Gen Christina Hlagodi Morakaladi, who retired on May 31 after a distinguished 39-year career.
Known as 'The Nurturer', she rose through the ranks from constable in 1986 to deputy provincial commissioner for support services, becoming one of the province's highest-ranking female officers.
Her career began in Mankweng after basic training in Hammanskraal.
She later joined crime intelligence and served in key administrative roles at Seshego, Lebowakgomo and Nebo, where she honed her people-focused approach to policing.
