FOUR persons aged between 33 and 53, comprising two men and two women, were arrested at separate locations in connection with stock theft-related charges in the Musina and Mphephu policing areas under the Vhembe district.
Limpopo police spokesperson, Brig Hlulani Mashaba said an intelligence-driven operation was conducted last Wednesday by Musina Crime Prevention officers in conjunction with Musina detectives after receiving information about suspects said to be in possession of stolen cattle meat.
Police proceeded to Matswale phase one Section, where they searched a residence after obtaining consent from a foreign female national.
During the search, police discovered cattle meat valued at approximately R25 000 inside a deep-freeze refrigerator.
