Telangana Wins National Energy Conservation Award (NECA) 2025 – Second Prize in State Performance

The Government of Telangana is proud to announce that the State has been conferred the Second Prize in the State Performance Award Category under the prestigious National Energy Conservation Awards (NECA) – 2025, instituted by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power, Government of India.

The award was received for Telangana's outstanding performance in the field of Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency, spearheaded by the Telangana State Renewable Energy Development Corporation (TGREDCO), functioning as the State Designated Agency (SDA).
The NECA-2025 Award Ceremony was held on 14th December 2025 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, in the august presence of the President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu. Telangana represented by senior officers Navin Mittal IAS, Principal Secretary to Govt. Energy Department, Govt of Telangana and Smt. V. Anila, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, TGREDCO have received the award from President of India.
G. S. V. Prasad, General Manager, TGREDCO; and M. Venkata Ramana, Deputy General Manager, TGREDCO, also participated in the ceremony at Vignan bhawan, New Delhi behalf of the state.
