Munister Ponguleti Retaining Wall Works in Full Swing at Munneru River

To provide longterm relief to the floodaffected people living along the Munneru River, the State Government has undertaken the construction of a massive retaining wall, said Revenue, Housing, and Information & Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy.
On Monday morning, he visited the construction sites along with District Collector Mujammil Khan to review the progress.
Addressing the media, the Minister stated that thousands of families suffered during the devastating floods in September last year, prompting the government to take up this project as a permanent solution to protect the river bank communities.
