Festive Mood in Agriculture Across the District – Farmers Ready for Kharif Season with Government Support

Agricultural activity in Nagarkurnool district has taken on a festive atmosphere as farmers gear up for the Kharif season. The timely release of Rythu Bharosa (Farmer Support) funds by the Telangana State Government has brought immense joy to the farming community.

District Collector Badavath Santosh stated that, so far, %243.55 crore has been deposited into the accounts of 2,14,347 farmers as input assistance. He added that, compared to previous years, the extent of cultivation in the district has increased significantly, reflecting the positive impact of government schemes.

During a press interaction, the Collector mentioned that farmers across Nagarkurnool are actively engaging in agricultural work, making the most of the early arrival of monsoon rains and the various benefits extended by the government. The district agricultural department has ensured timely distribution of seeds and pesticides, preventing any inconvenience to farmers.
