MK Party convener Willies Mchunu aware of a plot to oust him

UMKHONTO weSizwe Party (MKP) Convener Willies Mchunu, has issued a stern warning against ill-discipline by disgruntled party members looking to oust him, saying protesting against a leader is tantamount to protesting against the organisation.

Mchunu confirmed that he was aware some members had come to the MKP office to complain about him.

"I do not know the source of their complaints, as they did not engage with me regarding their issues."

Sources within the party said Mchunu has been a target since he took over the position.

This campaign is said to have intensified after he introduced strict governance controls that eliminated any abuse of party resources.
