Proof that Cape Town's bills are not the lowest of all cities

THE letter by Cape Town Mayoral Committee member for Finance that claims that “Cape Town's monthly bill lowest of all cities”, is disappointing.

This coincided with the DA taking the Employment Equity Act to court.
One would have expected a person of merit to have refuted the numerous so-called untruths in my letter.
But he failed dismally to do just that. He does not justify municipal increases, which are five times higher than the projected inflation rate.
He also failed to explain why municipal bills for properties of R1.2 million will be 24% higher than the bills issued in Johannesburg, and 41% higher than those issued by Ekurhuleni.
