Grobler off to dream start
Cape Argus
|August 04, 2025
SEKHUKHUNE United's new striker Bradley Grobler believes he is in the right place to achieve some of the targets he has set for the twilight of his career.
The 37-year-old goal poacher joined Sekhukhune as one of their new signings during the ongoing transfer window, reuniting with coach Eric Tinkler.
The move caught some by surprise, given Grobler's age and his history of injury problems during his long spell at the now defunct SuperSport United.
However, now injury-free, Grobler proved that class is permanent as he scored a brace on debut to help Sekhukhune beat TS Galaxy 3-2 in the MTN8 quarterfinal on Saturday night.
Grobler, who was also named Player of the Match, expressed his joy at being back on the pitch and on the scoresheet, while praising the technical team for managing his workload in preseason.
