Emergency response statistics reveal 28.5% decrease in incidents

THE Public Emergency Communication Centre dispatched assistance for 1322 incidents this past weekend, a drop of 28.5% (500 incidents) in just a week.
According to JP Smith, Mayco Member for Safety and Security said the City's enforcement agencies made 241 arrests and issued 62929 fines in the past week.
He said the Public Emergency Communication Centre (PECC) dispatched assistance in 1322 incidents from January 2 - 4, down 28.5% from the previous weekend.
