Don Mattera foundation mourns the loss of his son

STRUGGLE icon and poet, Don Mattera’s youngest son has died.
The Don Mattera Legacy Foundation made the announcement of Don Francesco Mangaliso Nuruddin Mattera’s passing on Friday.
His father, Omaruddin “Don” Mattera, died in 2022 at the age of 86.
Donny as he was affectionately known, was laid to rest on Friday, in accordance with Muslim rites at Westpark Cemetery in Johannesburg.
Details of the cause of death have yet to be made public.
The Don Mattera Legacy Foundation said it would continue to preserve the memory and legacy of both father and son.
