THE All Blacks returned to the top of the world rankings for the first time since 2021 after a 41-24 Rugby Championship victory over Argentina on Saturday, but captain Scott Barrett insisted there was plenty to work on despite the scoreline.

“We talked about starting well and I think we did that. We finished the second half quite strong - it was a bit of a statement there,” Barrett said, highlighting the contrast with last year, when the team often faded late in games.
