Adani group airports planning to test pre-booked security check slots

Adani Airport Holdings is planning trials that will let passengers pre-book security checkpoint slots to speed up turnaround time and enable end-to-end digital journeys through a single app.
This would be the first-of-a-kind trial in the country.
Globally, multiple airports such as Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in the Netherlands, London Heathrow Airport in the United Kingdom (UK), Los Angeles International Airport in the United States (US), among others offer a similar service currently.
If implemented in India, the service will let passengers book security screening slots in advance, helping cut down wait times in long queues.
