Students unite for project in German exchange scheme

BURTON and South Derbyshire College (BSDC) has boosted its international links through a new Exchange2Change initiative involving students from Kempten, Germany.
-
The programme saw learners from BSDC's Childcare, Media and Design, Business and T Level Health courses travel to Kempten for cultural activities before returning to Burton with their German counterparts to begin joint project work.
During a two-day exchange at BSDC, students completed employer-led sustainability projects using college facilities including VR, immersive suites, motion capture and 3D scanning.
Learners also compared the differences and similarities between UK and German education, before presenting their finished projects to the group.
