PUBLIC SERVICE LEARNERS FROM BSDC JOIN REMEMBRANCE PARADE AND SERVICE
STUDENTS from Burton and South Derbyshire College (BSDC) took part in a remembrance parade and service to mark Armistice Day on Tuesday.
A total of 55 students from the public services course marched in uniform through the Memorial Gardens outside the college, culminating in a two-minute silence and the laying of a wreath at 11am.
In the lead-up to Armistice Day, students supported the Royal British Legion by selling poppies in Coopers Square shopping centre and local supermarkets.
