Defender's absence is due to unusual injury that's left him with open wounds
JASPER Moon's recent absence from the Burton Albion match-day squad is because he is suffering from horrific blisters on both feet.
The unusual injury, in football terms, has caused the centre-half to miss out for the last five matches, since he came on as an 83rd-minute substitute away to Stockport County on August 23.
He had started the season as first choice in the centre of defence but the blisters have escalated on both heels, also affecting his Achilles.
