Landmarks for Bunting, Davies as Crofters move up to second

BURTON climbed up to second in Regional 1 North West after a 29-27 away win against Bowdon.

Tristian De Jager, Chaz Bunting, Lewis Sturgess, James Davies and Tom Braun scored the Crofters' tries while Guy Kirkpatrick kicked two conversions.
And the win was extra special for try scorers Bunting and Davies. This was Bunting’s 200th appearance for the Crofters, while Davies chalked up 250.
“It was a fantastic away win for us against Bowdon,” said Crofters’ director of rugby Harry Titley.
“In some ways it was a role reversal of previous games as we were trailing at halftime.
“But we clawed our way back to win by two points and I think that shows our growing maturity as well.
