COMMUNITY EVENT STAGED TO MARK JACOB COLLIER'S FIRST YEAR AS MP

THE MP for Burton and Uttoxeter has celebrated his one year anniversary of being elected to Parliament.

Charities, volunteers and community figures came together at an event at Langan’s Tea Rooms, to mark Jacob Collier's first year as their elected representative.

The event featured personal reflections, networking and a showcase of local charities that have benefited from engagement with the MP’s office.

Mr Collier was elected as part of last year’s Labour landslide victory at the general election on July 4, winning the seat from the Conservatives’ Kate Kniveton.
