The Brewers raced into an early lead at Stevenage on Saturday but ultimately had to settle for a share of the spoils when the fourth placed side bounced back after half time.

Speaking after the entertaining 2-2 draw, Bowyer said the point was the minimum his side deserved from the contest and analysed: “We were excellent last week and then we've come to a team that went third because of the early kick off and we've been the better team in my opinion.
