App 'transforming how people interact with GP practices'

MORE than 500,000 people across Staffordshire now use an app to access NHS services.
The NHS app can be used to message GP practices, submit online consultation forms, access health records and book appointments.
Patients can submit a non-urgent enquiry through the app between 8am and 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, and their GP practice will respond the same day.
This reduces the need for phone calls or in-person visits for routine queries.
