WEPL T20 triumph for Midsomer Norton

MIDSOMER Norton clinched the WEPL T20 title at Swindon and will advance to the first round of the national ECB competition.
Finals day got underway with Norton bowling out Tewkesbury for 110 and sealing a comfortable eight-wicket win before Potterne piled up 183-5 and then bowled out the hosts for 85 to seal a 98-run triumph.
In the playoff final, Norton totalled 173-8 before Potterne were dismissed for 96 to complete a terrific day for the club who are top of WEPL Premier Two Bristol/Somerset and favourites to be promoted.
