It's time for the city's most vibrant day of the year up on The Downs, as Bristol Pride Day returns with a packed line-up
-
WITH just one day to go until Pride Day tomorrow (Saturday), Bristol Pride is already under way with the city in the midst of a two-week programme of events that began at the end of June.
But as the countdown begins for tomorrow, excitement is building for what promises to be the festival's biggest and boldest Pride Day yet, a joyful and inclusive celebration of protest, music and visibility on The Downs.
Wristbands start from just £9, and come packed with perks, including discounted drinks, fast-track entry, exclusive discounts or offers with food traders and free travel all day of Pride Day with First Bus services and dedicated Pride Shuttle buses. Fast Track and Super Supporter wristbands are limited (but still available at the time of writing) and selling fast, so organisers are encouraging attendees to secure theirs in advance, as they will not be available on the day. Wristband holders will receive a code to use in the First Bus app for free travel; to get the code automatically, wristbands must be purchased before 10am today (Friday). Shuttle Buses to The Downs will remain free for wristband holders, with a standard First Bus fare applying for those without.
