Shaun needs ewe: Plea for knitters to help homeless

HE may be known for his mischief but a campaign marking Shaun the Sheep's 30th birthday will be a force for good.

Aardman has teamed up with British Wool, Campaign for Wool and Craft Forward to ask Shaun's Bristol fans and all wool enthusiasts to knit, weave or crochet a Shaun-inspired blanket 20cm square. These will then be fixed together to make blankets for homeless people.
A spokesperson for Aardman said: "Shaun is a global and cultural icon - but he's Bristol born and bred!
